I have been to the Bryan Center many times, it is also in my fire district. That place may look creepy, but it is devoid of any activity that we could find.. We have been in Lexington as a group since 1992, but most of our members have been doing this in one form or another since the 80's. We have had many good investigations in Lexington proper, Davidson and surrounding counties as well as most of the southeast. Word to the wise. Bryan Center now has an imediate arrest tresspass in force now, so beware... new owners are from up north and don't play games.

Can anyone tell us where one SHOULD go for paranormal activity in Davidson County? couple of places... the old 150 graveyard in curry town, the grave yard at the Tuckertown boat landing, the old Lexington Hospital. the generals house and several other locations. Don't fprget to get permission first. DCSG and LPD don't mess around. (Several of our team members are law enforcement so we get the inside info)... also the old plant 7&* in the south end has a big field that was once a graveyard...

I hate to diss agree with you but I do! We have been in the paranormal field for 12 years and to say the Brian's Center is not haunted is wrong to say the least. Some of our best evidence has been from here. Don't give up, spirits don't respond every time.

Another place allegedly haunted is the old Hampton House on Hampton Road. Doesn't seem to be, though it certainly LOOKS like it should be! twenty some years ago, I went to the Hampton house, we went upstairs, and the bedroom we was in was the one as you went up stairs and you had to walk around pass 2 more bedrooms and then pass the front upstairs windows on the front of the house. as we went into that bedroom the door shut. we stood there like what is the world is going on. no door knob to open the door. someone said we can climb out the window, well, guess what the windows was boarded up. for about 30 min. we talk about how to get out,, then there was the door knob laying right at the door. was not there before. Did not think nothing about it.. Then we had been back out there a few more times nothing happen, so we took more people out there, this time me and my friend was in the front going up the stairs came to the 1st bedroom upstairs, look in there,, some furniture, 2nd bedroom well some chairs, but something was moving around that room. someone said it the light from the car passing by.. I said, you tell me how the lights get in with all the windows boarded up.. so there was ghosts in that room.. we left. Then we went back on Halloween night, we always went in the back door. this time we went to the front door and it was already open, you could see the stairs going up and there was a door right beside the stair case. well that door was moving like someone was waving it back and forth. so we went up the front steps and open that door, there was nothing there but a brick wall behind that door. I do believe that house is haunted, seen for myself. which now someone is living there I do believe, and they have a very high fence up around it now.

There is a seemingly safe looking house on Old Linwood Rd that I know is haunted. The first family that lived there lost a child in a wreck. Second family, the husband killed the wife and stepson. Third, the wife became a seriously ill, husband lost a small fortune. Fourth owner, the family I know, wife got breast cancer, the day she found out she beat the cancer, she had a heart attack in the house. Her 36 year old son had a massive stroke downstairs and is now disabled. The husband developed serious breathing problems. Things were always moved around and the wife saw the little boy that was killed there several times. Last fall the wife developed cancer again and insisted on moving. She didn't wake up August 30th 2015. The house is in preforclosure. Has been for a year. The bank tried to sale it at auction. No bids what so ever. It's obvious when you walk in the place that you are not alone. I sensed the murdered woman the first day I walked in the place. I'm not sure if it's something wrong with the land or the house itself but there IS a problem.

Is anyone still on this site? I live in Denton and am wanting to go to the locations with like-minded people. When I was around 8 or 9 My sister took me to an old school in thomasville that was damaged by a fire. Supposedly it was haunted by a janitor that also lived in the school that died in the fire. I have been to the Brian Center in Lexington. It’s on brain lane off 85. And I have been to the Jackson creek road house. I didn’t go inside because the house is so old now. I went last month and the house is still standing but just barely. Please be careful if you enter the house.

I worked at The Brian Center in 1988/89. I can attest to the abuse of some residents. It's why I quit. I've always wanted to go through it again. Who would I have to get in touch with to get permission?

If you’re still around let me know, I have some possible places in Thomasville that I cant find Information on, seems like man made trenches? With a large hole entering what seems to some sorta dugout, aswell as some sightings of a little girl on the woods, strange pulsing “fire alarm” (best description I got) noises in the woods, aswell as just overall creepy history I’ve heard form word of mouth, a neighbor of mine has arrow heads from the where they’d plowed the land when they planted tobacco (now woods) and its been determined to be belong to the Clovis people around 20,000-15,000 BCE. There might be a lot more to be discovered. If anyone is interested my number is (336) 300-1250, text me and let me know.
