Hello everyone, I have just joined the site today and have enjoyed reading the different stories of paranormal experiences. I have just posted about Payne Rd in rural hall. My name is Carolyn. I have been interested in the paranormal for a long time but so far have had to luck in actually seeing or catching anything paranormal. Well now that I think about it I do have one experience that I still can't explain. I was at a furniture store in Walnut cove near germanton and rural hall. I believe it used to be owned by a man that once lived in the house that died there and now is used as a furniture store. It was last year that I went there, when I first walked in there was a man cutting another guy's hair so at the time they had it like a barber shop and a furniture store. The man told me that the owner of the store was out of state and wouldn't be back for a few days. So besides him and myself and 2 other people there was no one else in the store. I walked around for awhile until the guy showed me the downstairs where the basement was and where they kept the dining room suits. I looked around for a few minutes and saw a couch they looked really comfortable so I decided to sit down and try it. Next to me was a door that lead to another room. I wasn't really paying much attention until I heard someone or something knocking from the inside of the door. I sat there really still and finally said "hello?" The door started to open slowley and then stopped. I wasn't sure what to do so I walked over there to pull the door open. Before I could get my hand on the knob the door shut. I didn't stay down there long, to this day I really don't know what it was. I was the only one down there and from what I could tell there were no windows that could have caused a draft to make the door open and shut. Still could be a possibility but I would like to investigate the place.

Hi angel, Weare new to this grave yard hunting, but it is so exciting!!! The one that we visited is on Hampton RD off of Hwy 150. It is very old, & no one keeps it up. I was very saddened by the shape that it has been allowed to be in. We should meet sometime & chat. I live in Arcadia. Let me know

Hi Everyone, I have just joined and it seems as if I am the only Asheboro/Randolph County member. If there is someone else close let me know. The paranormal has always been an interest of mine although I back up when it comes to Satanism and devilworship. Being a Christian I do believe in spirits and would love to explore this. I know that I am probably older than most of you but my interests is just as deep. I have been disabled with fibromyalgia since 2002 but I can walk and I can explore. I do a lot on the computer and watch all can on tv. The new show that comes on A&E Paranormal is very interesting. I also watch hauntings on Discovery Channel and any other shows i can find. I love old cemetaries, i have been known to just walk through them and read headstones. Fasinating what you can learn from a piece of granite. Take care all.

Hello and welcome jackier47. You stated you watch A&E 's hauntings have you ever watched Ghosthunters on SciFi? If you have not I recommend watching them for their professionalism and their scientific approach to the paranormal.

yes thanks Chad and Stangtattoo. yes i watch Ghost Hunters all the time on SciFi it is an excellent show. By the way Chad, we lived in Newport News before we moved back to NC. Soo glad to hear from you both. All this is so interesting. I have personal questions from long back that were never answered. I guess i keep thinking I will get an answer. But thats not all of it. I have at times that I had knowledge of something before it happens. And wow, the dejevue drives me crazy lol. Do any of you guys relate to this? And feelings about things i should know nothing about. oh well. Thanks again. God Bless all my haunting fellowship.

I have always wondered if it is your minds eye that causes dejavu or if it is an actual kind of phsychic thing going on? I have heard it is all in your head, anybody?

To me it is like I have been there but not actually present at some point. I do not know what the actual cause is but I feel you have to be somewhat capable of foreseeing the event.
