Can anyone tell me how to get out to Sally's Bridge? I've heard it was in Concord off Poplar Tent Rd. somewhere. I'm about an hour and a half drive from Concord so I wanted to be sure where I was going, can someone tell me how to get there from 85?
I really appreciate it. You can email me at dchildress@northstate.net.
Thanks.

Is tis yet another one of tose vanishing hitchhiker stories? Or is it another "She hanged herself fromte bridge" stories? Or s is another "She was murdered on the bridge" tales? Or is it something different?

Those terrible feelings don't put me off. I've been doing this for nearly 30 years. Most of th time, people, even so called psychic sensitives, simply misread energies as somethng evil when it isn't. And even if it IS, we know how to stay safe, and deal with such accordingly.

It’s true, there was a Sally’s Bridge site and legend near Charlotte on no longer existing Black Snake Rd near Belmeade Rd and the modern White Water Center. The bridge spanned Long Creek but it was destroyed in the early 70s, supposedly dynamited by thrill seeking teenagers! Nonetheless the spooky place was quite popular with teens in the 70s even after the actual bridge was gone and the road closed. You could still walk to the site from Belmeade Rd. The story was a pretty typical one of a girl who ran off the bridge and was killed on her prom night. Supposedly if you turned off your car and called her name the car wouldn’t start. Never tried it. I never heard anything about a Concord Sally’s bridge until the 2010s; perhaps the story migrated…
