There is a graveyard near Rock house that I *think* is the location he was buried. It was kind of overgrown the last time I was there, but it has an iron fence around it. You should be able to find it if you look around the area. I'm pretty sure it's on the left coming onto Rock House Rd...but my memory can be faulty, lol!

I'll definitely keep an eye out for it next time I go. Thanks!

Rock House in Stokes County. I am very much a newbie but I am also very sensitive because I was struck by lightening as a child. I spent years being terrified of the things that I see and hear. Rock House is definitely an interesting place to visit if you seek the paranormal. Several instances there have sealed my belief in the site. I was there several times before the fence went up. I always treated it with respect. I did set up a recorder there and let it sit for hours. This was before the times of all the technology. I would love more than anything to go with someone of similar interests and check the place out again with some technology.

I am planning a trip to the rock house. John jack Martin is my ancestor. He is the grandson of the prince of Wales. His ancestor has a castle still standing in Wales that is also said to be haunted. Im going there too.
