GUEST, Hello, welcome to the forum... Don't be afraid to sign your name, we don't bite. But as for the Hampton house, I have had my own experience there, so please tell me what you base your proof/evidence on. Do you know the people that live there? Can you tell us what the stories were. I really don't know much history on the house. Can't wait to hear from you!

I have also been to the hampton house, and judging from the amount of beer bottles inside and the absolute lack of any paranormal happenings...even a creepy feeling. The other poster is right, the hampton house is an historic landmark and you have a very good chance of being arrested for tresspassing if yougo there without permission. I have no idea how one can get permission. the last time I went by there it looked as if someone is trying to renovate the old house and there is a new building just behind it. I have heard several stories about the place and have been able to confirm none of them.
basically, it'sa creepy looking place, but not much else.

This home was built by my great grandfather. It is privately owned by a member of my family. It is not open to the public. It is not haunted. It was never a funeral home. It has always been owned by Hamptons and still is.

Because of its resemblance, I think people mistake it for tye Hunt Hose in Yadkin, near the Shallow Ford

I would love to see this place. I might have to take a drive. You are right. There is nothing at all that I can find other than what you have already mentioned. Sorry I can't help you more. My curiosity is peaked also. If you find out more keep us updated.

There wasn't a doctor or a morgue there. We had heard reports about those from several online rumors but none were true. Our team went out in July to investigate the building. I work with the wife of the owner of the home which is how we got permission. We stayed overnight in a side building and did several sweeps of the building and held several EVP sessions. We got no answers and no EMF spikes during our stay. We've been twice now. Once with the full team then only half. Still no activity. Just an old creepy house. The owners are planning on making it a bed and breakfast at some point.

From pics of the Hampton House, the Hunt House is much bigger. It was also built earlier, in the 1850's if memory serves me correctly. Both locations are spooky, though! It's been a few years since I have driven by the Hunt House so I hope it is still there.

We got access to the property from the owners and are heading back soon for another investigation. Does anyone have anything they want us to look at/get photos of while inside? Or any sort of history on the house?
