Just wondering if anyone here is a Stephen King fan? I have a huge collection of his books. I love to read his work. My favorite story is probably still "Eyes of the Dragon", even though it's hard to pick a favorite.

He is the greatest! I saw a paperback at Walmart the other day that I haven't read yet called Lisey's Story. It sounds pretty good. I started reading Stephen King in 1989. My first was Eyes of the Dragon. It is still my favorite to this day because that is where my SK journey began.

Hi Chellemo! I agree, he's a really great writer. It is hard to put down one of his books. I really enjoyed "Eyes of the Dragon" as well. I read that he had written that book for his daughter. Wouldn't it make a great movie? Only if he did the screenplay, though. I've been wondering if that accident he had really hurt him worse than the media has been letting on. The new stuff that has come from him since then, doesn't seem to be quite like his older work. Have you noticed it as well? I just watched "Storm of the Century" (again)on Sci-fi this past weekend. It's okay, but I really liked "IT"-(books are always better)-but I loved Tim Curry as the clown-he's scary anyway. stephenkingshortmovies.com/I used to watch shorts on this site, but maybe you can still find some good stuff here.

Koontz wrote this KILLER story called "Twilight Eyes"-GREAT story. Even people that don't like Koontz-(if possible) would like this.

I LOVE Dean Koontz - just as much as Stephen King! I really like Koontz's book "Dark Rivers of the Heart".
And I agree that his (S.K.) books changed after the accident. They got a little weirder and a little harder to understand. If you look at books like Christine, Cujo, Carrie, The Stand, Misery - they are not like his more recent books. Still love him tho!!!!!!!!!
