Last night I wrote down all my best ghostly encounters and posted them on the web. I decided it would be cool to share these past events with all of you. And since its so long, I didnt want to take up bandwith for your site, even though I really dont know what that means, I'm sure it will make you as the owner happy that I am not eating up all your resorses, or something. www.geocities.com/lobo_en_fuego/artwork/ghost_stories.htmlI am also very interested in hearing ghost stories from you guys as well. I really enjoyed reading about your past hunts. You should write down something for all of them, even if nothing happend.

Wow, the part about the horse was cool. I understand what you're saying about being frustated when you see an apparition and not being able to hold your ground. I, myself have yet to be confronted by a full-blown apparition and I'm not sure how I'd react either.
I'd like to think that the ghost-hunter in me, aka the need to see and to know, would allow me to stick around to find out what would happen but I'm pretty sure that eventually the rational part of my brain would take over and I'd end up booking out of there like you did.
btw nice job in recounting your experiences. I don't have any stories of my own (yet) but so far I have had one or two things that have happenned on some investigations that I consider kind of creepy...

Wow, Lunar, you must have spent some time on that. Don't worry about my bandwidth, it's only text so it's not really a problem. Later tonight when I update the page, I'll try to make a new section for your experiences. If I get some more free time myself, I will do my best to get some of our experiences up as well. Nothing really major has happened on any of the hunts, but I do have a pretty good story from before we even started hunting. Some of the current members were there, and at least 3 can confirm that an Ouija planchette moved by itself. That's all I will say about it for now...
Talk to you soon,
Eikon
P.S: Haven't been able to read it all yet, but I will ASAP.

Quote from Mark "I'd like to think that the ghost-hunter in me, aka the need to see and to know, would allow me to stick around to find out what would happen but I'm pretty sure that eventually the rational part of my brain would take over and I'd end up booking out of there like you did." Actually what we was running from was not the horse, it was from his uncle that had a rifle. To explain this better, my friend lived in a trailer beside his uncles' house in the country. His uncle owned land that was used for crops to grow in. And, haveing a typical mentality as to shoot unknown trespasers with his rifle(only at night), it was wise to leave immediatly since his dog was barking furiously. I dont mean your casual bark, it was barking as if someone was trying to attack it or its owner. Now the dog was part wolf, and his name was spirit. He was very friendly and knew us. We played with him occasionally when I would come to visit. So the dog never barked at us when we would wander into the fields and forest, and his uncle knew that as well. Now imagine that its really late at night(I honestly didnt remember the time, but probly between 12-2am), and all of a sudden this mans dog goes into a crazed frenzy of a barking fit. Now the dog is tide up behind the house, somewhat close to the pourch and barking toward the street on the other side of the house. The man would obviously think someone was trying to steal some of his farming equipment or what have you. Knowing this, if he sees us out in his land, we would also know that he would not be able to recognize us, yet only see 2 shady figures standing around in the middle of the night. Obviously we knew(actually I didnt know he had a gun and his history of shooting/at people untill my friend quickly explained it being the reason we needed to "book" immediatly) that he would shoot us. I have to admit there was a sense of fear, but it was way overshadowed by my on excitement and curiosity of what was happening before me. My fear for the most part is always preety much undercontrol, even though I can be very "jumpy". The only time I would run is if I knew my life or limb was in imdiate danger, or if everyone was leaving me behind. I'm not brave enough to do it by my self! Quote from Eikon: "I will do my best to get some of our experiences up as well. " Awsome, I'm looking forward to it. "Nothing really major has happened on any of the hunts" I disagree! I read what happend at that elementary shool! Wow. Thats what inspired me to write down my experience that night! All sorts of crazy things happend, the bang on the door, the "stirring" of something downstairs while you was on the roof, the extra person jumping the fence when no one was there, and then the slashing of the tire, as if the final warning never to come back. Thats intense! I mean the bang on the door when u first got that was pretty crazy. That also happend to me at my grandmother's beach house when we first looked at it right before we bought it. Its a 2 story apartment-like building. Down stairs is much smaller with 2 bedrooms, and a bath. The stairs leading to the second floor has a door to it at the bottom of the stairs. Well we first saw the top portion of the house becuase the renters had just moved out, but the renter that lived in the bottom still lived there. Though he was not there at the time, had no one visiting, or any pets(to confirm this the sellers showed them the downstairs later, no one was there), I walked downstairs to that door, unlocked it, and slowly started turning the doorknob when BAM, something hit the door and made me jump. Originally I thought the guy must have been there and maybe he was getting dressed(in the living room?) downstairs and hit the door to stop us from comming in. But when I found out no one had been there.... I knew I had encountered something that I didnt want to encounter again. I'm all about ghost hunting, but when I am at a place where I want to relax and feel "safe", I dont want something comming out and scaring me! And whats up with that picture of the evil ghost face which said "I kill, I kill"? If thats not major, as u put it, I dont know what is. Who know what might have happend if you stayed around, but I know I would be happy to miss those fireworks. But it would be cool just to have a page where members can have an archive of their experiences and personal hunts outside of the official ones. For mine you can just put the link to my site instead of posting the whole thing Perhaps with will attrack more people to the site(hopefully some ones who live near me too )
